Happy Wednesday

This never ever ever gets old.

Its been a crazy week trying to get ready for Vegas. I am just SO excited and ready for a break from real life. Ans I've been dreaming about getting one of these bad boys.... I mean who doesn't want an Ipad Mini?

I can't decide if I should wait until they reveal the new one later this Fall or satisfy my urge and get one NOW :)

Favorite Things

I thought I would share some of my favorite products with you. I wish this was like Oprah where I could give everyone one of everything, but sadly I am not nearly as cool as the big O. I love it when bloggers share their favorites because without fail I always find something I am dying to try. Here's my top 5. 1. My Clairisonic

This bad boy will change your life! I only wished they were around when I had acne all the time in my teen years! In the last few years I have only been getting occasional breakouts (usually around my chin and jaw line) and this cut those breakouts in half at least. It was worth every penny of the $120 I spent and I reccomend it to EVERYONE. 2. My Keruig

I never thought I would spend so much money on a machine that makes a tiny cup of coffee but this baby is one of the best inventions ever. Nothing like enjoying a cup of starbucks coffee without having to leave the comfort of your house & pjs. 3. Speaking of Starbucks - I love coffee chains. Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Panera..... I love love love'em. I just love sitting in a coffee shop reading a book and people watching. The aroma from the coffee is just down right intoxicating.

4. Lazy clothes We all know how fabulous yoga pants are but did you know that yoga shirts are equally comfy? I always make sure to buy a size up so its not tight and the fabric keeps me cool in the summer. I love these from Target and the colors are adorable.

5. Venus Embrace Razor. I have tried EVERY razor under the sun and nothing compares to the five blades on this bad boy. They aren't cheap but I can usually find a coupon and I definitely think they last longer than the cheap razors. There is nothing like having freshly shaved smooth legs.

What happens in Vegas......

You know what it's like when you fall in love with a place? It just feels like home and you makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. That's how I feel about Vegas. We were meant to be togeter. And in nine short days I will be partying my face off in my favorite place and I thought I might share why I love Vegas so very much. 1. It's hot hot HOT and there is very little humidity. This means I can lay out in the sun for hours upon hours while drinking a cocktail and reading a book. What's not to like?

2. There is SO much to do and look at! I like that you don't HAVE to spend a bunch of $$$ to be entertained. You can just walk around and look at the fabulous and the crazy (prostitutes with business cards anyone?)

3. Celebs love them some Vegas so there is ALWAYS that chance that someone awesome will walk by. Hopefully I'll run into these kids.

4. The amazing shows! I realize that these are far from free but they are worth every penny. Last time we saw the Cirque Du Soleil show La Reve at the Winn and it was just enchanting. I am REALLY hoping we are able to see another show this time around.

5. Dancing my face off to my favorite jam.... Blurred Lines anyone?

6. Last but certainly not least.... I get to visit La Creperie at the Paris Hotel. I love crepes and these are the biggest most awesome crepes on the planet. Yum-O

Favorite Blogs... Ready... Set....

This girl spent $30 and several hours just to make Yum Yum sauce. I couldn't like her more if I tried. If you don't know what yum yum sauce is. I can't help you. Google it. Then get to your local hibatchi steakhouse and enjoy the deliciousness.

I die for this girl's hair, clothes, and personality. AND - she hosts one of the best linkups in town.

She is the sweetest sarcastic mama you will ever meet. Besides changing her hair color and length on the daily. She also likes to rub her awesome kids and vacations in your face. #imjustjealous
She loves yoga pants, tattoos and boxed wine. She gives some pretty awesome beauty tips and she's not stingy with the sarcasm.
You have a kick ass blog and you bake? Can we be best friends and get married or just the best friends part. As soon as my wallet and waste line can afford it - I am signing up for this cookie of the month club business. They look amazeballs.
This girl dances her face off. And sometimes she uses her mad blogger skills to get tickets to the craziest sold out techno music festival of all time - Tommorrowland anyone?
She's got a talent for interior decorating, amazing clothes, cool DIY projects, and her dad writes the BEST guestposts EVER.

My name is Karen Marie. In my real life I work a bajillion hours a week doing lots of boring stuff no one wants to hear about. I love blogs, magazines & books. I love animals. I love reality tv and time wasted laying in bed. I like Blue Moon (heavy on the oranges) and sweet red wine.
